First off, I want to thankambientlight for my luscious Haibane Renmei fic and taurenova for the cutest Darths & Droids treat that I could have asked for. Your stories for me made me squee like a crazy squeeing thing. :)
My gift was the Spirited Away fic While We Wait For This Rebirth fortemaris. I struggled for ideas in the beginning but once I re-watched the movie, ideas and inspiration flowed like crazy. I was done halfway through December and used the rest of the time to beta and go over it with a fine toothed comb. To be honest, I think it's one of the best things I've written. :)
I also wrote a treat, The Metaphor Principle forcaramarie, fic for the song 'The Predatory Wasp of The Palisades is Out To Get Us' by Sufjan Stevens. To be quite honest, that song has always been so very House/Wilson AU to me, so I just embraced that idea, twisted it a little, and went on my merry way. Tiny canons are the way to go!
(Am I the only one getting weirded out by seeing the number 2010 as the year date at the top of everyone's entries? It's like... zomg I'm in the future hahahaha.)

Happy holidays, y'all! I've been spending the last three days eating (I weigh 118 lbs as of yesterday; two more pounds and I will be back to the fattest I've ever been in my life, wow!), playing Beatles Rockband, and watching Planet Earth.
As well as enjoying festive time with family, I've been partaking in the joy of Yuletide for the first time. I am absolutely in love with my gift: the winter hours, 1731 words of dark Haibane Renmei awesomeness. I also got a lovely Madness fic: Episode 2 and 1/4 - The Unexpected Video Store Meet-Cute, 555 words of Annie/Jim (from Darths & Droids) cuteness.

Fandoms in the recs thus far include Legal Drug, Dhoom 2, Futurama, The Lion King, Homestar Runner, Inuit Mythology, Anthropomorfic, Kal Ho Na Ho, The Ramayana, Spirited Away, Threadless T-shirt Designs (yes you read that right), and #yuletide RPF. Wheeeeee!
Things I got for Xmas:

Things I bought on Boxing Day:
- two shirts from Jacob (wine and teal)
- a black clutch by Guess
Didn't find the cool trench (coat) I was looking for, but ah well. You can't win them all. But my new Guess clutch is a thing of beauty and stirs my very soul. Tim Gunn would be proud. ;P

First and foremost, thank you for writing me something for Yuletide! I am the noobliest of noobs, completely new to this entire experience, and going through the process been rather exciting and eye-opening to me. I hope you're enjoying it as much as I am. :) So, on to the crux of the matter then!
